We develop scientifically rigorous tools and provide modeling expertise to support the understanding of complex biological systems. We are rooted in mechanistic, "white-box" modeling — the gold standard for regulatory and translational discussions. Our work bridges data, mechanism, and decision-making across pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamics, and systems biology.

Nanomath was founded in 2020 in Seattle, WA, and is directed by Simone Perazzolo, a scientist at the University of Washington holding a PhD in mathematical modeling of physical systems, with prior appointments at the University of Southampton, the University of Virginia, and the University of Padova in the tradition of compartmental modeling pioneers. The team brings together experienced developers, engineers, and quantitative modelers with backgrounds spanning industry, software development, and translational research.
